Take-Two Interactive, the company that owns
GTA publisher Rockstar Games, announced that they signed a $12.7 billion acquisition deal with Zynga last January. The acquisition was completed after the shareholders of both parties approved the deal recently.
Zynga will officially include Zynga, along with Rockstar Games and 2K Games, with Take-Two’s
new acquisition of Take-Two. In this context, many games, including Words with Friends and Farmville, developed by Zynga, will now be under the umbrella of Take-Two.
