ZTE introduced its new flagship ZTE Axon 50 Ultra in China today. The smartphone carries a 6.67 inch OLED display with curved edges. It should be noted that the panel, which offers a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD +), supports 144 Hz refresh rate.
The device has Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5x RAM. 5G support and communication via satellite
The most important feature of the ZTE Axon 50 Ultra is that it offers two-way communication over the BeiDou satellite (BDS) infrastructure. Thus, users will be able to send and receive emergency messages when they are out of coverage. The device also has 5G connectivity support.
The smartphone is equipped with dual stereo speakers with DTS: X Ultra support. It gets the energy it needs from its 5,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The manufacturer has yet to reveal the price and release date of its flagship smartphone.
