Microsoft Chairman and CEO, Zain Nadella, son of Satya Nadella, passed away at the age of 26. Born as a cerebral palsy patient, Zain was treated at Seattle Children’s Children’s Hospital during his lifetime.

The news of Zain Nadella’s death was announced by Microsoft in an email to company employees. Satya Nadella has taken care to develop products that appeal to people with disabilities since 2014, when she took office at Microsoft.

Jeff Sperring, CEO of Seattle Children’s Hospital, said: “Zain is always great. He will be remembered for his taste in music, his big smile, and the joy he brought to his family and everyone who loved him.”
The Nadella family donated a hefty $15 million last year to Seattle Children’s Hospital to support their research in neuroscience and mental health.
