The digital music service YouTube Music was launched in 2015 by Google’s subsidiary YouTube. The app, which has been continuously developed since then, finally got the long-awaited Live Lyrics feature today.
Live Lyrics feature has come to YouTube Music!
YouTube Music is far behind its rivals Spotify and Apple Music. For example, the Live Lyrics feature has been around for years in competing apps. YouTube Music, which had insufficient features, was also lagging behind in terms of the number of users.
Google has started to close the shortcomings of the YouTube Music service, albeit late. The company rolled out Live Lyrics for both Android and iOS users today. So, what is the difference between the “Lyrics” currently in the application and the “Live Lyrics” features that come today?
The lyrics show the lyrics of the song you are listening to in a static way. So you cannot follow synchronously. Thanks to the new Live Lyrics feature, you can do just that. While listening to the song, the screen constantly scrolls down and the spoken word is displayed with emphasis. So you can follow live.
YouTube Music’s Live Lyrics feature is currently only available for some Android and iOS users. It is expected to be available to everyone in the near future.
If you want to check whether the feature is available to you, first open a song and drag the info panel at the bottom of the screen upwards. Then switch to the Lyrics tab. You can follow the lyrics live here. It should be noted that the Live Lyrics feature currently only works on songs with lyrics entered.
