YouTube has been giving suggestions to users in the main app to listen to songs on YouTube Music since 2019. With a new button, the platform now makes it easy for users who open song videos in the main app to switch to YouTube Music.

The YouTube main app includes a button to switch directly to YouTube Music in the playback window when a song is opened. The new button, which will be next to the autoplay button, appears as a direct YouTube Music icon.
In the second option, ‘You want audio only?’ You are asked whether you want to switch to YouTube Music with the title. In addition, at the bottom of the pop-up window with video options, there is a “Listen with YouTube Music” option.
