In recent years, we’ve seen the release of apps like CapCut that offer a simplified, AI-powered video editing experience. Now YouTube is entering this medium with the new YouTube Create application.

Google announced the beta version of YouTube Create this week, aiming to simplify the video editing and production process. The app is currently available in select countries and only on Android.

Notable features include automatic subtitles, a voice-over function, a library of copyright-free music, a host of effects and transitions, and, of course, a video editor.

There is an audio removal tool for background noise, a tool to change video size for different aspect ratios, and various stickers, GIFs, emojis, and other features you need to know about.

This isn’t the only AI-related announcement YouTube has made, as several new features have been announced as well. First, a feature called “Dream Screen” will be tested later this year, allowing you to create AI-generated video or image backgrounds for Shorts. This feature will be widely available next year.

The company also says it will offer AI-generated insights and draft design next year. Finally, YouTube says it will offer an AI-powered dubbing tool for your content. There is no information on a timeline for this feature.

You can check YouTube Create’s Play Store page by clicking here. However, let us reiterate that it is currently only available in certain countries. What are you thinking? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
