Burger King, one of the largest fast food chains in the world, came up with a strange event tonight. Thousands of Burger King customers in the US have received a hollow order email from Burger King. The email sent at midnight included a list of information about the so-called order, but it was blank.
In the e-mail sent, sections such as the Burger King branch where the order was placed, the order number, the products purchased with the order, and the price were also left completely blank. While the situation was shared by many users on social media, many people suspected that Burger King may have been hacked.
Burger King has not yet made a statement:
While there are suspicions of cyber attacks, restaurant chain Burger King has not made any statement on this issue at this time. The interesting thing is that some people who received the e-mail even stated that they had never been a member of Burger King with their e-mail addresses before. While this part of the matter continues to be pending, it is considered among the possibilities that the empty order e-mails may have been caused by a problem in Burger King systems.

“Hey @BurgerKing, why did everyone and their grandmother get this email at the same time? You stressed me out. I thought someone might have hacked my account and placed an order. Even my roommate got it.”
“Anyone else get a blank order receipt from Burger King? I thought it was a phishing/scam attempt but all links are legit.”
