Instagram’s new shopping feature will allow payment directly on private messages. Users will be able to complete the purchase process without leaving the messages window by using the payment message sent by the seller after agreeing on a product with the seller.
Shipment tracking can also be done from the chat screen.
With the new feature, in addition to the purchase, you will be able to track the shipment of the product you purchased from the same chat window. At the same time, you will be able to ask any question you want to ask the seller after the purchase from the chat window.
All purchases made in Instagram chat will be subject to Facebook’s Shopping Protection Policies, according to the shared statement. In other words, if you have any problems after the purchase and you cannot reach the seller, you will be able to get a refund by reporting your problem to Facebook.
The feature is available to sellers on Instagram as of today.
