Popular messaging application WhatsApp continues to improve itself and test new features. A new report has revealed the new feature that WhatsApp is testing in the Beta version. A new device was discovered in the connected devices section of WhatsApp Beta for Android in a report by WABetaInfo. Thus, in a future update of the app, it will be possible to link an existing WhatsApp account to a Meta Quest device.
It is not yet possible to officially link Meta Quest as this feature was introduced via the WhatsApp Beta update for Android 2.23.13.6 and is still in development. Therefore, further details such as how the connection between the existing WhatsApp account and the VR device will take place and information on compatibility are currently not available. However, the feature is expected to be available with an update that will come soon.
