Steam, one of the platforms where PC players spend the most time, started its event today, which especially helps those who are chasing new games. The ‘Next Fest’ event, which is held at regular intervals, will offer the opportunity to try hundreds of new games for free for a week.
You will be able to download the trial version (demo) of hundreds of different games that will be released soon or opened for pre-order at the event, which will last from 3 to 10 October. Moreover, it is very easy to find the type of game you want.
What’s on for the Next Fest October 2022?
If you want to find a game in a particular genre, you can choose the genre you want from the game types menu on the event page. However, you can use the “Most requested games not yet released” filter or the “Daily active demo player” filter to see the most in demand games.
In this event, Valve not only filtered the general game genre such as action and simulation, but also listed the sub-game genres. So you can easily discover new games in sub-genres such as Rogue-lite, Hack and Slash, Souls-like or Political Simulator.
