A small but very useful feature has appeared in the Wi-Fi section of iOS 16. Now you can see the password of the Wi-Fi network you are connected to. As you know, it was not possible to see the password of the wireless network you previously connected to in iOS 15.

How do I see the Wi-Fi password in iOS 16?

In iOS 16, when you open the WiFi section of the Settings app and touch the network you are connected to, the password option appears. You can see the password of the relevant Wi-Fi network by authenticating with Face ID, Touch ID or password.

Now you have the opportunity to copy the password from this section and forward it to the person you want. As we mentioned at the beginning, this was not possible before. The Wi-Fi password could only be automatically shared with the nearby Apple device.
