While the claims that the age of television is over, are getting stronger day by day, film platforms and social media are carrying out important works, productions and projects that prove this. Netflix, which has the most recognition among these platforms, continues these projects by including important Turkish productions as well as foreign films.
Actor, screenwriter, poet, director producer Yılmaz Erdoğan, who has accomplished successful works with his acting and scripts for years, has an important place in the film culture of our country. As a matter of fact, the aforementioned productions draw the attention of even the viewers who do not follow him very closely. The movie Kin, the trailer of which was released last month, written by Yılmaz Erdoğan and starring in the lead, is also among these works.
“Justice or revenge?”
Starring Yılmaz Erdoğan and also writing the script, Kin can be watched on Netflix from today. Adapted from the South Korean production ‘The Grudge’, the film stars Erdoğan, as well as Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan, Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu, Rüzgar Aksoy and Duygu Sarışık. Türkan Derya, who previously directed productions such as “Gönül İşleri” and “Too Far Too Close”, sits in the director’s chair of the film, which is produced by BKM.
In the production, which is a detective thriller, the character Harun (Yılmaz Erdoğan) is attacked by the taxi driver while returning home after the celebration with his teammates after receiving the highest award of his profession. When the murder case, which he committed while defending himself, reaches the police, Harun begins to search for the perpetrator of the murder he committed, and events begin to develop along with it. The first reactions started to come from the audience regarding the highly anticipated film since the trailer was released. While some of the audience liked the actors, others expressed their opinion that the scenario could be better.
