Preparing to announce the Redmi K50 series in the coming weeks, Xiaomi continues to work to push the limits of fast charging technology that we encounter in today’s smartphones.
Fast charging support increases to 150W
According to the information shared by Digital Chat Station, Redmi K50 Gaming Edition and Redmi K50 Pro+ models include a 6c dual-cell battery to offer 120W and 100W fast charging support, respectively. The company, which plans to do so, will ensure that the phones are fully charged in just 17 minutes.
Although many users are skeptical of the rising fast charging technology today, Digital Chat Station says that Xiaomi has prepared a faster fast charging solution and this solution is almost ready for mass production. However, while the new charging power is expected to reach up to 150W, the phones can be fully charged in less than 17 minutes.
It is not yet known on which phones the new charging technology will be used, but it may find its place in the Xiaomi 12 Ultra or the upcoming MIX series.
