Chinese technology giant Xiaomi introduced the flagship Xiaomi 12S series equipped with Leica signed cameras at the event it held yesterday. After the announcement of the smartphones, a new camera application called Leica Camera was also released.
Leica Camera is similar in appearance to the regular camera application in MIUI. But the accent color in the options has changed. Apart from that, the app’s settings are more minimalist as there are fewer options compared to the old camera app.
The watermark has become more detailed
The most noticeable difference is the new watermark added to the photos. It has become larger and more noticeable. It also takes up a lot of space at the bottom. In this section, we see that not only the smartphone model, but also some parameters are specified.
The new watermark includes the Leica logo, date and time information, as well as parameters such as exposure, ISO and aperture value. The company has not yet announced which Xiaomi models the Leica Camera application is compatible with.
