The Android 12-based interface MIUI 13, which Xiaomi is preparing to offer to its users, was in the news headlines with new information that emerged in the past months. The first models of the interface, whose screenshots appeared about four months ago, appeared last month. Now, the introduction date of MIUI 13, which has been expected for a while, has been officially announced.
The statements made by the Chinese company so far were only for the Xiaomi 12 series smartphones to be introduced on December 28. However, technology followers were making ambitious statements that the MIUI 13 interface would be released on the same date. Xiaomi has now put an end to these rumors and officially announced the date when MIUI 13 will be available to users.
To be introduced before the end of the year:
A statement by the company today confirmed the rumors so far and shared that MIUI 13 will be introduced on December 28 along with the Xiaomi 12 series smartphones. Chang Cheng, who works as the assistant general manager at Xiaomi, stated in a statement that the new interface will bring many changes. Although there is no definite information about what these changes will cover, it is stated that in-system applications will run 20-26% faster.
Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi, also asked questions about the improvements to be made to its users on the website called Weibo. When asked what should be better in the MIUI 13 interface, the majority of users said that “no freezing” and “faster processing”. On December 28, MIUI 13 will be officially available to users in China. It is expected to be released on the same date worldwide, but the statement made by Xiaomiui points out that this date may be a month later.
