With the introduction of Android 13 last month by Google, the update work of smartphone manufacturers gained momentum. While companies spend time integrating the version into their own interfaces, software support for old devices continues to end. Finally, Xiaomi has updated the list of models whose update support has ended. The end of the road for a model was in sight.
Xiaomi has finished the update support of a model
The smartphone market is in circulation. In the sector where a new model is introduced day by day, the software support of the devices that are not possible to run new versions in terms of hardware is cut off. Even though some companies produce quality models in terms of features and design, they may not be preferred because they are not in the class in terms of update support.
Xiaomi is also a company that some people appreciate and others criticize. It usually gives two years of software support to the smartphones it sells. At the same time, it periodically updates the EOS list, which includes the devices whose update support has ended, on the official website.
Having finished the software support of Redmi Note 7s, Mi Play, Mi 9T, Redmi K20, Redmi 7 and Redmi Y3 models in the past months, Xiaomi finally made the same decision for the Redmi K20 Pro. The phone in question will no longer receive MIUI, Android or security updates.
