Reportedly, the Redmi Pad 2 will feature a 10.95-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1200×1920 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The tablet, which will be equipped with 8MP primary and 5MP selfie sensors in the camera section, is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 680 platform. This leak, that is, the switch to Snapdragon 680, shows us that there will be a potential decrease in the overall performance of the tablet.
For those who don’t know, Redmi Pad was showcased with the MediaTek Helio G99 processor. According to current tests, the Helio G99 has a 16 percent higher performance on the GPU side and a 35 percent higher performance on AnTuTu. Therefore, the Redmi Pad 2 can be offered for sale in a more affordable price range than expected.
