Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi geared up for 2023. Wanting to increase its share in the foldable smartphone world, Xiaomi may have completed the development phase of the Mix Fold 3. New leaks from China suggest that it will launch in August and the Mix Fold 3 will be a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.
Xiaomi Mix Fold could be announced on August 3
In 2023, foldable models will occupy more space in the smartphone market. At this point, one of the models that will create competition in the market will be the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3. According to Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi will announce its next foldable phone at the same time as the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Samsung usually announces the foldable Galaxy Z series in August. This year’s models are also expected to be showcased at an Unpacked event to be held in August. Recent leaks suggest that the Mix Fold 3 will also be announced in August.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 features also attract attention. The foldable phone is said to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Additionally, it is expected to come with ultra-fast UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5X RAM, although its capacity is unknown.
Mix Fold 2 featured a design that could be folded in the form of a notebook. It is thought that the new model will remain faithful to this design. However, it is said that the screens will come with a panel with a more advanced 120 Hz refresh rate.
