Xiaomi has added new ones to the smartphones whose support has been terminated. According to the EOS listing, the company has stopped providing support for the Redmi 8, Redmi 8A, Redmi K30 5G and POCO X2 models. This means that the phones will not receive any updates soon, including security patches.There are many POCO X2 users waiting for the MIUI 13 update, but considering the company’s current list, it doesn’t matter. As a reminder, the stable MIUI 13 version was tested in April 2022, but Xiaomi did not issue this update due to various bugs and other issues.
Xiaomi recently added the Mini Note 10/Pro and Redmi Note 8 Pro to this list. Mid-range phone with MediaTek Helio G90T processor, Redmi Note 8 Pro has millions of users. Introduced as the world’s first smartphone with a 108MP camera sensor, Mi Note 10 is also among the popular models. Introduced in 2019, the devices received MIUI and security updates for 3 years.
