Xiaomi first introduced the MIUI interface in 2010 and it has grown in popularity ever since. Within a year and six months, 500 million users were reached. The company announced that as of May 21, 2023, the number of global monthly active users of MIUI has exceeded 600 million.
The number of active users of Xiaomi MIUI is increasing
MIUI interface is used in over 180 countries and regions. Introduced in 2010, the Android interface managed to reach the 100 million mark in 2015. Three years later, it reached 200 million monthly active users worldwide. It exceeded 300 million in 2019 and 400 million in 2020. Last year, the number of active users crossed the 500 million mark. Steady growth continued and reached over 600 million users in 2023.Xiaomi MIUI is at the forefront of Android interfaces inspired by iOS.
