Xiaomi recently announced the launch date of Mi Band 7 from the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. The smart bracelet is now available for pre-order on the famous e-commerce site JD.com. In this way, the technical features of the product became clear.
Mi Band 7 will continue the design lines of the previous generation. Compared to its predecessor, the screen resolution of the product, which is 25 percent larger with a 1.62-inch AMOLED panel, will be 490×192 pixels. Apart from that, it will be available in Standard Edition and NFC Edition versions, as in the previous models.
One of the prominent features of the device is that it has built-in GPS support. In this way, users will be able to track activities such as walking and running without the need for a smartphone. On the other hand, it will incorporate Smart Alarm and Power Save Mode features that allow the user to wake up from light sleep half an hour before the predefined alarm.
Mi Band 7 is claimed to be able to measure the level of oxygen in the blood. In addition, the device will come with Always on Display, which allows certain information such as the time to be seen on the screen even when it is not turned on. There are also significant improvements on the battery side. Because the product will be powered by a 250 mAh battery, which has been increased by 50 percent compared to its predecessor.
The smart bracelet will be introduced on May 24 at the same event as the Redmi Note 11T series, which appeals to the middle segment. Sales will begin a week after it is introduced.
