In the past weeks, it was revealed that Samsung slowed down certain applications in order to avoid bottlenecks in its new flagships, but showed high performance by opening benchmark applications to the end. As a result, it was banned from benchmark applications until the update came. The same is true for the Xiaomi Mi 11.

Snapdragon 888 chipset is known to have efficiency issues caused by Cortex-X1 core. Manufacturers are naturally trying to reduce performance, but not doing so in benchmark applications is considered as a move to deceive the consumer.
Xiaomi Mi 11 has been on the market for a year now and it is not known when this slowdown issue started. This is probably the case with versions such as Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11i/Mi 11X Pro. Primate Labs will shed light on the matter after necessary research.
