As the technology industry continues to move towards virtual/augmented reality, giant names have started to introduce light glasses that bring this technology to our eyes. Finally, Xiaomi introduced the “Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition”, where it made the long-awaited compact augmented reality glasses design a reality.

What does the Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition offer?
Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass, which has a much more compact structure than today’s augmented reality glasses, has a body made of carbon fiber and magnesium-lithium alloy. This means that the device can be much lighter than today’s counterparts.
In the images shared from the device, we see two large lenses, one on the right and one on the left, and a smaller diameter lens in the middle. The cameras and sensors behind the said lenses will capture and analyze the real world and transform it into visual data, so that virtual data can be processed on this world.
Finally, the device will track your movements with the Xiaomi AR Gesture Control system and allow you to control the virtual world with your gestures.

In the details shared in the press images, Xiaomi also included that the lenses will have an ‘electrochromism’ feature. In this way, users will be able to switch between the virtual world and the real world at any time.
