Xiaomi has launched a new smart display in its home country of China. The device, called Smart Home Screen Pro 8, is the third member of the company’s smart screen family, which consists of Smart Home Screen 10 and Smart Home Screen 6 models.Xiaomi Smart Home Screen Pro 8 has an 8-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels. Working with the MIUI Home operating system, the device offers up to 15 hours of uninterrupted video viewing thanks to its 7,500 mAh battery. This is really good progress. Because the previous models did not have an internal battery.

Let’s add that the smart screen is equipped with a stereo sound system and a wide-angle camera. Powered by its quad-core processor, the device includes 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. In addition, there are Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and infrared modules.
It should be noted that Smart Home Screen Pro 8 can be used as a smart home control center and speaker. The device, which supports touch and voice control, can serve as an entertainment center for children with its built-in cartoon and book library, apart from watching videos, karaoke and video calls.
Xiaomi Smart Home Screen Pro 8 will be available from August 14, 2023, with a price tag of 749 yuan (about $ 105).
