The next phone of the Redmi K50 series to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 has been announced. As rumors spread that it would be one of the Redmi K50 Ultra or Redmi K50S Pro, Redmi put the end to the rumors. Redmi said in a statement that the phone that will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the launch of the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition will take place this month. However, Xiaomi may still market this phone as the Redmi K50 Ultra.
