Xiaomi has released a list of smartphones and tablets that will no longer receive software updates. It has been more than two years since the release of these devices, and thus they made their way into the updated Xiaomi EOS (End of Support) list.
Asus has announced the global launch date of ROG Phone 6
being included in the EOS list means the company will no longer release new versions of operating systems and security patches for these devices. The following 10 Xiaomi devices will no longer receive updates:
- Redmi K20
- Redmi Note 7
- Redmi Note 7S
- Redmi Note 7 Pro
- Redmi 7
- Redmi Y3
- Xiaomi Mi Play
- Xiaomi Mi 9 SE
- Xiaomi Mi Pad 4
- Xiaomi Mi As a result of the inclusion of Pad 4 Plus
10 Xiaomi devices in the EOS list, the company will no longer respond to reports of vulnerabilities on these devices. The Redmi Note 7 series was launched three years ago and has only been able to receive an Android OS update. The Redmi K20 is about 3 years old.
