Samsung introduced two 200MP camera sensors last year. The sensors, called ISOCELL HP1 and ISOCELL HP3, have not been used in any smartphone so far. The sensors, which are expected to be used by Motorola for the first time, can also be used by Xiaomi before the end of the year.
Xiaomi 12T Pro may come with a 200MP sensor
According to new information, Xiaomi will use one of Samsung’s 200 megapixel sensors in the 12T Pro model, which it will introduce before the end of the year. The Xiaomi 12T Pro will come with a 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, 8/12GB RAM options and a 5000mAh battery. Drawing attention with its features, the Xiaomi 12T Pro will debut as a budget-friendly flagship.
Motorola is expected to be the first brand to use Samsung’s 200MP sensor. Motorola X30 Pro, which is expected to come with a 144Hz OLED display, 60MP front camera, 4500mAh battery and 125W fast charging support, will use the 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor. Standing out in the megapixel race, Samsung is considering using a 200MP camera sensor in the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which it will introduce next year.
