Six months after the launch of Xiaomi Civi, Xiaomi has started preparations for the release of its more expensive version, the Xiaomi Civi Pro.
Let me remind you that Xiaomi Civi is positioned as the thinnest and lightest Xiaomi smartphone and has the thinnest “chin” of all Xiaomi smartphones. Evidence of the upcoming device and details about the features were discovered by Xiaomiui site, which has published verified information about both the MIUI interface and the new Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco smartphones.
When will Xiaomi Civi Pro be introduced?
According to the source Xiaomi Civi Pro is being developed under the codename zijin, model number 2203119EC or K9E for short. The smartphone will come with a 6.5-inch OLED display with curved edges, Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate support, as well as a high-quality Synaptics touch panel that Xiaomi 12 Lite and Xiaomi Civi lack. The hardware base will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G or Snapdragon 778+.
It is stated that the main module in the rear camera will not support optical image stabilization, as in Xiaomi Civi and Xiaomi 12 Lite models. Xiaomi Civi Pro will come out of the box with MIUI 13 pre-installed, based on Android 12 operating system. The official launch of the device is expected to coincide with the Xiaomi Mix 5 series in March or April in China. An international release is said to be not planned yet.
