Xiaomi plans to introduce the new flagship 15 Ultra at the end of this month. Before the launch, the company’s CEO Lei Jun shared a photo taken by the device in low light, especially the power of the periscope telephoto lens.
This photo was taken with a 100mm periscope telephoto lens instead of Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s main camera. This lens, which is probably a 200 -megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor, can catch clearer and detailed photos in low light with 4×4 pixel combining technology. Offering a 4.3X optical and 100x digital zoom, the system is preparing to set a new standard in caleter shootings.
Lei Jun says Xiaomi 15 Ultra will take an important step in night shootings. The shared sample photo confirms this; Low noise level, net details and balanced shine ratio are remarkable.
On the hardware side, the device is said to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 2K resolution micro -curved display, the ultrasonic fingerprint reader and satellite communication support. The camera system features a 50 MP main sensor, 50 MP ultra wide angle, 50 MP telephoto and 200 MP periscope telephoto lens. The battery capacity is 6,000 mAh, while 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support will be offered.
Lei Jun says that there may be an increase due to increasing costs. The previous model, Xiaomi, was sold for $ 890 $ 890. The price of the new model will be determined at the official launch.
