According to sources, Xiaomi 14 will be released on October 27. Even a Xiaomi store employee points to the same date. If this is true, the upcoming Xiaomi flagship smartphones will be unveiled the very next day of Snapdragon Summit 2023.
What to expect from Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro
According to leaks and rumors, the new series will consist of Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro and possible Xiaomi 14 Ultra. However, only the basic and pro models will be released this year, while the ultra will be introduced next year. Both devices will come with a renewed design. We will once again see Leica lenses on the back of both devices. Leica-adjusted cameras with three different focal lengths, titanium frames like the iPhone 15 Pros, and satellite connectivity will be available on the phones.
While the Xiaomi 14 will reportedly have a 6.4-inch display, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to have a larger, 6.7-inch display. Both phones will have a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. Likewise, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage devices will also be common. Xiaomi 14 is expected to come with a 4860 mAh battery with 67W fast charging, while the Pro model is expected to come with a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. Finally, these phones will be the first devices to be shipped with MIUI 14 based on Android 15.
