The technical specifications of the new T series model Xiaomi 12T, which Xiaomi will introduce very soon, have leaked. The Mi 9T, especially the Mi 10T series, sold well, although the 11T had good features, it did not receive the expected attention. Now, the company is preparing to introduce the new T model.

MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra
Some of the important features of the new model, codenamed Plato, are the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra processor, which will provide hours of excellent gaming experience with a much higher resolution panel and high performance compared to previous generations. The Dimensity 8100 is one of the mid-high-end processors that went through TSMC’s 5nm manufacturing process. It is said that we will see 8GB / 12GB LPDDR5 RAM on the memory side and 128GB / 256 UFS 3.1 on the storage side.
Under-screen fingerprint
Xiaomi 12T aims to provide the best visual experience on the screen side. Instead of a physical fingerprint reader on the screen, which offers a resolution of 1220×2712, under-screen fingerprint technology will be used. It is said that the Xiaomi 12T will have the same panel as the 12T Pro, which will be introduced very soon. The device will come with a triple camera setup. Carrying a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 main camera at the back, an 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera, the phone carries a 20MP resolution Sony IMX596 on the front.
When will Xiaomi 12T be released?
The device is expected to be introduced in September, as the Android 12-based MIUI 13 update is ready. At the same event, we will also see the Xiaomi 12T Pro model.
