Presenting the 12S series to users at its event in July, Xiaomi is preparing to showcase the 12T series, which has been on the agenda for a long time with allegations and leaks. Recently, there has been a significant increase in the number of leaks related to smartphones. Finally, the standard model of the series appeared in the Geekbench performance test.
Xiaomi 12T appeared on Geekbench
Smartphones will arrive in global markets as Xiaomi 12T. In addition, they will go on sale in China under the names Redmi K50S and 50S Pro. Recently, the standard model of the series appeared on Geekbench with the model number 22071212AG.
The smartphone managed to score 753 points from single-core tests and 2 thousand 990 points from multi-core tests. In addition, some key technical details that are already known have been confirmed once again. According to the Geekbench database, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor. The chipset with a 5 nm architecture houses four 2.85 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 and four 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores, in addition to the Mali-G610 MC6 graphics unit.
The list shows us that the smartphone will come with 8 GB of RAM, of course, there are likely to be different options here. It will also come with Android 12 out of the box as the stable version of Android 13 is not available yet.
The device will feature a 6.67-inch OLED panel with 2712 x 1220 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint reader, which is determined as a security method, will be placed under the screen. As we mentioned above, 256GB of internal storage will be offered alongside the 8GB RAM option.
While there is a 20 Megapixel selfie camera on the front, a triple camera setup consisting of a 108 Megapixel main camera, 8 Megapixel ultra wide angle and 2 Megapixel sensor at the back will be available to users.
The model will use a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. On the other hand, the case of not getting a charging adapter out of the box, which has been very popular lately, will not be valid for the Xiaomi 12T series.
