Xbox users can benefit from many subscription systems for their consoles. Xbox Live Gold, which gives two games a month and enables some online features to be used, announced the games it will give away in October.
Xbox Live Gold free games for October
The service is currently not releasing Live Gold games exclusive to the Xbox Series family. Because there are not many remastered versions of games for Xbox Series S|X consoles yet. Although the games are gifted to those who use Xbox One and, surprisingly, Xbox 360, you do not miss these games on your Xbox Series S|X devices thanks to backward compatibility support. The games that subscribers to the service can play in October are as follows:
Xbox One games:
- Aaero (Available through October)
- Hover (Available from October 16 to November 15)
Xbox 360 games
- Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (Available from October 1st to October 15th)
- Resident Evil: Code Veronica X (available Oct 16 – Oct 31)

Xbox Live Gold October games are playable on Xbox One and Xbox 360. It is also possible to play on Xbox Series devices with backward compatibility.
Unlike PlayStation Plus, when you add these games to your library, you have the chance to play as long as your membership continues. In the recently heated Xbox and PlayStation competition, Xbox manages to be an economical choice with its Live Gold and Game Pass subscription services.
It surprises us that when Xbox Live Gold games are announced every month, games are still coming to Xbox 360. Although this console has not supported new games for a while, it has Live Gold support even though it was released in 2005.
