Microsoft is renaming the Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription. In this context, the company named the service PC Game Pass. Xbox focused on resolving the confusion in the minds of players with the new name. Now the Game Pass service is available to players with a simplified name.
Microsoft previously had subscriptions to Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. All of these looked like Xbox offerings from the outside. With the renaming of the PC subscription, it appears that from now on the service will include offers for the PC. Despite these, the symbol of PC Game Pass membership still remained Xbox.
Games to be added to PC Game Pass
Xbox has listed some of the games that will come to PC Game Pass, exclusive to the name change above. At this point, some small games are added to the service. Here are the names of the games:
- Total War: WARHAMMER III
- Redfall
- P. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl
- Atomic Heart
- Slime Rancher 2
- A Plague Tale: Requiem
- Starfield
- Pupperazzi
- Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator
- Replaced
- Somerville
- Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising

In addition to the above games, some new games will be included in the near future. Xbox also shared a list of them. Here are the upcoming games:

This change that Xbox made in the Game Pass service was generally intended not to confuse the two options. Now gamers will understand that they can play PC Game Pass games on their computers without hesitation. Previously, some users might think that the games are exclusive to Xbox.
