In October, Microsoft and Adidas formed a partnership to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Xbox with the first official Xbox shoes. The Forum Tech sneakers produced by the company for fans of the original 2001 console attracted a lot of attention with their nostalgic green and black colors, but there was one problem with the shoes: they were not for sale. The new sneakers produced now do not have such a problem, those living in the USA and Canada will be able to buy them!
Microsoft describes the Xbox 360 Forum Mid as “a love letter to one of the most iconic game consoles in gaming history.” That means lots of details that Xbox 360 fans will appreciate. The most noticeable is the Xbox button on the outside of the shoes, but there are other fun touches as well, including straps that mimic the console’s optical drive. Another nifty addition is that each pair comes with four additional laces in red, yellow, green and blue. You can watch the shoes in the video below:
Sales of the Xbox 360 Forum Mid shoes began today and are available for purchase on the Adidas website.
