Tracking with real-time sensors
Realme’s 240W charging architecture converts 20V/12A power to 10V/24A via three independent charge pumps. This means that we will now see three battery cells in 2023 phones, as you can imagine. The 12A wire consists of four standard 21 AWG wires. The charging process is monitored by 13 real-time sensors that will limit the power in case of any danger. The company says the charge protection includes fireproof materials and certifications.
Maintains battery health
Realme guarantees that at least 80% of the phone’s battery health will be preserved after 1600 charging cycles. The company will be the first brand to double the current standard (800 cycles) with its upcoming GT phone. By the way, the new Realme GT phone will have a large cooling area (total area 6580 mm² and multiple graphene sheets). Graphene sheets will take on the task of maintaining performance in heavy use, while at the same time reducing the overload caused by super fast charging.
