The 13th generation Alder Lake processors, which Intel introduced in the past weeks, have been subjected to many tests so far. One of the notable ones among them was the Intel Core i9-13900K. The processor in question brought with it the world record.
Intel Core i9-13900K breaks world overclocking record!
As a result of the tests conducted with the AMD FX-8370 in 2014, the world record was broken with a speed of 8.72 GHz. Intel’s new and powerful processor Core i9-13900K broke the world record with a speed of 8.812 GHz, according to CPU-Z performance reports shared on the HWBot platform.
The hardware used in the Core i9-13900K tests by expert overclocker Elmor is also among the shared ones. ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 APEX on the motherboard side and 32 GB DDR5 GSKILL RAM modules on the memory side welcomes us.
The system was tested at -195.8 °C with the help of liquid nitrogen. In this way, the 3.00 GHz base specified for the Core i9-13900K on Intel’s website was able to exceed 5.80 GHz turbo speeds. So once again, lowering the temperature came to the fore.

AMD is aiming for the top with the RX 7900 XT and RX 7950 XT on November 4th!
We see that AMD initially planned to release the RX 7900 XT with 24 GB of memory, but then turned back from NVIDIA’s mistake and reduced the RX 7900 XT to 20 GB and went to a different classification within the product range.
In the current scenario, the RX 7950 XT is positioned directly opposite the RTX 4090 Ti. It has unexpected features such as Navi 32 GPU and 24 GB memory, which comes out of the 5 nm production line, as well as 384-bit memory interface and 12,288 Stream processors.
Well, what do you think about this subject? Do you think a new record will be broken in the future? Don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section!
