The rapid popularity of the Wordle word game and its subsequent acquisition by the New York Times started a new wind. The Wordle concept comes in different forms.
How is Squabble played?
The game, which is currently only playable on the web at Squabble.me, combines Wordle and battle royale logic. The game, where you can guess words up to 99 people, is also time-based.
After logging in to the game played from browsers in desktop mode, you choose one of two modes. Blitz mode can be played with up to 5 people, while Squabble Royale mode can be played with up to 99 people.
The player has to use his 6 guesses in the most efficient way and not to decrease his HP level. As time progresses, you can increase the HP level that decreases with the correct letters. Thus, the closest guesses win.
Players can automatically join an existing session, create their own session and give their code, or join the session with their friend’s code. There is a somewhat Among Us style system. The game is still in beta.
