Today we see so much violence news that we sometimes feel ashamed of our humanity. People(!) inflict violence not only on men, women, children, but also on animals. We would like to state that we are against all forms of violence, no matter who it is done or by whom it is done.
In the past few days, the football world has been shaken by the news of violence. West Ham United player Kurt Zouma was on the agenda with the emergence of images showing violence to the cat in his house. It is not known why the football player behaved like this and attempted to harm a living thing that could not even tell its troubles.
Zouma, about whom an investigation has been launched, is requested to be imprisoned for 5 years.
The football player, who apologized in his statement on the subject and said that there was no excuse for his actions, said that he regretted it. Stating that both of his cats are in good health, the football player stated that their cats are loved by all family members and that the incident will not happen again.
We cannot publish the images in question because they contain too much violence, but unfortunately we did not publish them with this in mind, because it is claimed that Zouma’s younger brother Yoan shot them. It is unacceptable for a young child to witness such violence and for Zouma to “have fun” while inflicting violence on the cat. The prosecutor’s office also launched an investigation against the football player. Zouma could face up to 5 years in prison if found guilty.
West Ham United: “We’ve talked to Kurt, we’ll settle the matter internally”
West Ham United said in a statement: “We at West Ham United unequivocally condemn the actions of our player Kurt Zouma in the video. “We talked to Kurt and we will deal with the issue internally, but we would like to state that we do not condone cruelty towards animals in any way,” he said.
Reactions on the subject are growing like an avalanche
