WhatsApp offers more privacy control to its users

The advanced chat privacy feature will offer users various controls to make messaging experiences safer. One of the most remarkable aspects of the feature will be the ability to restrict media files to automatically recording in the device gallery. This means that the photos and videos they receive in chats that users enable this feature will not be automatically recorded in the gallery. This protection will now be accessible for all users who enable advanced chat privacy feature, while it is valid only for lost messages before.

This feature, which is not limited to the recording of media files, will also control the export of chat history. When developed chat privacy is enabled, WhatsApp will prevent the export of interviews with people using this setting. In this way, special speeches will be better protected and unauthorized data transfers will be prevented.

In addition, the participants in the same conversation will not be able to interact with Meta AI when advanced chat confidentiality is enabled. This will ensure that users make sure that their special conversations are not shared with artificial intelligence systems. One remarkable point is that WhatsApp has not developed a screenshot mechanism to prevent chat screenshots. This decision is probably due to the fact that users can overcome this restriction through WhatsApp web or other external methods.
