NextSense’s medical director, Jen Dwyer, explained that sleep attacks that patients will experience can be detected in advance with the help of headphones, and EEG signals are received very effectively with the help of headphones. According to Wired’s report, the company wants to get the headphones for FDA approval this year and put them on the market as soon as possible. The headset, which NextSense has been working on for many years, is seen as a big step to prevent not only seizures during sleep, but also other possible problems.
