Announcing that it will enter the game world in the past years, Netflix started its investments in the sector after this announcement. The company, which included many simple games in its video streaming service, later bought Oxenfree’s developer Night School and established its first game studio. It seems that the company will continue its investments in this sector.

Netflix Game Controller released for iOS

Netflix’s new app has been released on the iOS App Store. The app, called Netflix Game Controller, will allow iOS devices to be used as game controllers. The application, which will be paired with the TV version of Netflix, will make it easier to play Netflix games on TV.

Although the application has been published, its use has not been activated and Netflix did not share any details about it. It is not yet clear which games will support this control system or when the service will become available. In addition, Netflix also stated that it will not make any statements about the Android version of the application. Despite all this, the application is expected to be available in the coming weeks. Netflix will add important productions such as Storytellers, Paper Trail and Monument Valley to its game service in the coming months. It is also known that a service-exclusive Assassin’s Creed and LEGO: Legacy Heroes Unboxed builds are on the way.
