While Huawei continues to make improvements in its entire ecosystem, it also accelerated its work for smart watches. The most important work carried out in our country was the I’m Safe application of AKUT. The app is now available on Watch GT2 Pro and Watch GT 3.
Watch GT2 Pro and Watch GT 3 owners, after downloading the AKUT I’m Safe application on their Huawei phones, can enter the AppGallery area in the Devices section via the Huawei Health application and install the I’m Safe application on their watches.
AKUT Search and Rescue Association and General Information Technologies Ltd. Sti. Perhaps the most important feature of the “I’m Safe” application developed by the company is that it can work without internet. In natural disaster situations where call is not possible, internet does not work, and SMS is activated, pressing a single button is enough to share your location.
In order to use the application, you must first enter the settings section of the application and save the phone numbers of at least 1 and at most 10 people. When you add the number, the “I’m safe” button becomes active. You don’t need an internet connection other than to download the I’m safe app and add numbers.
When you press the I’m Safe button on the main screen of the application, your phone sends your location via the GPS service to the people you specify via the SMS system. In order for the message that you are safe to be sent, you must have the right to SMS.
If you do not have the right to SMS, a message is sent that you are safe with the standard price of your package or tariff. Obtaining your location via the GPS service may take a long or short time depending on the brand model of your phone and the environment you are in.
