One of the important features of the new operating system Windows 11, which US-based technology giant Microsoft launched last month, was its integration with the Android ecosystem. Thanks to this integration, users would be able to run Android applications on Windows 11 without the need for an emulator. Microsoft has now taken a step partially related to this feature of Windows 11.

Microsoft has created a new clipboard in the latest version of Windows 11 and Windows 10. The clipboard added to the system settings section in Windows 11 allows consumers using SwiftKey on their smartphones to easily connect and copy text. The feature, which is available through the section called “Cloud Clipboard” in SwiftKey, seems to make users’ work easier.

Copy feature is only available on Android for now

In the statements made by Microsoft, it was stated that with this feature, users do not need to send e-mails to send texts and links to themselves. In addition, stating that this feature is only for Android for now, Microsoft did not say anything for iOS.

The feature that Microsoft has launched seems to be one of the first steps in Windows and Android integration. However, we can easily say that features like this will increase in the future and the user experience will be made much better.
