Apple still seems like a safer port
Privacy and security are important on all platforms today. Although many users face bad situations in terms of privacy and security, companies are looking for solutions to this problem. Of course, there has been a great competition between Apple systems and other operating systems from the past. In the past, Apple systems were known to be more secure. However, considering the current situation, the fact that Apple is still far ahead makes the usability of Windows and Android questionable.
A total of 11.4 million malware were detected in January 2022. In the following months, 8.93 million, 8.77 million and 5.65 million malware entered our lives, respectively, as of April. In other words, users met with more than 34 million malware in total in the first four months of 2022.
When we look at the cross-platform distribution, we see that Windows encountered 25.4 million new malware in 2022. Android, on the other hand, battled 536,000 new malware. However, when we look at MacOS, we see that a total of 2,000 new malware has been encountered. So the difference between Apple systems and other systems is very, very big. Of course, although the number of users of systems such as Android and Windows is a big factor here, the numbers do not seem acceptable.
