The Windows 11 operating system will receive an update with interesting features in the near future. Twitter user, nicknamed Albacore, who often shares important information about Windows and other Microsoft products, gave important details about this issue.
Published screenshots show that the “Sustainability” section has been added to the Windows 11 Settings menu. In this section, users will be able to access energy-saving settings as well as see whether the current energy consumption is environmentally friendly.

At the top of the screenshot are five leaves to indicate the Eco Score. There is no percentage or numerical value in the relevant part. The inside of the leaves will probably be filled with green to show the environmental impact of your computer’s energy consumption.
The sustainability section will guide users on how best to recycle old computers, as well as advise users on energy consumption. This feature, which is planned to be included in the stable version of Windows 11, is currently being tested.
