Microsoft has updated the list of supported Intel and AMD processors for Windows 11. The company has added several new Ryzen processors, including AMD’s processors that are not yet on the market, while removing many Intel processors that were previously on the list of compatible processors.

Unsupported processors will be blocked

In addition to updating the processor list, Microsoft will soon block the installation of Windows 11 on unsupported hardware. Users who were able to install Windows 11 on their PCs with unsupported processors say that with Windows 11 build 25905, Microsoft no longer allows this.

Programs like Rufus will not work

It is among the rumors that TPM bypass will no longer work, along with programs such as Rufus and Ventoy that allow Windows 11 to be installed on unsupported computers. Microsoft has released the Windows 11 upgrade option for unsupported hardware in the past, and even the PC Health Check program has been seen to approve very old processors.
