According to the latest AdDuplex report dated June 2022, 3.4% of Windows computers have been upgraded to Windows 11 in the last two months. Although Microsoft’s next-generation operating system is increasing its market share, it still has a long way to go before it can become the most popular Windows version.
When we look at the latest data, we see that the Windows 10 21H2 version, which has a share of 38.2%, is in the first place. Windows 10 21H1 follows with 23.9% usage rate. The market share of Windows 11 21H2, which is in third place, was calculated as 23.1%.
Upgrade to Windows 11 optional
The number of users of Windows Insider versions increased by 0.1 points compared to two months ago, reaching 0.8%. Note that Windows 11 is offered as an optional update for systems that support it. Therefore, it is up to the users to switch to the new operating system or not.
