Windows 11 is coming quickly rescue feature
Microsoft began to test Quick Machine Recovery, a feature designed to prevent events such as Crowdstrike disaster last year. The fast recovery feature was available in the Windows Insider Preview 6120,3653. IT experts will be able to recover from a distance thanks to this feature, even if a computer is not opened.

What will Windows 11 Quick Machine Recovery do?

Windows 11 will install the recovery mode (Windows Re) when the user’s computer detects that the computer is not opened and offers the option to fix the system using fast machine recovery. Then, Windows will ask the user to connect to the Internet to analyze the collapse data and determine the main reason and get available solutions via Windows Update.

With the fast machine recovery feature, when there is a widespread interruption that prevents devices from starting properly, Microsoft will be able to distribute targeted corrections to the devices affected through Windows Re, will automate the corrections, and solve the problem without the user’s intervention.

Microsoft plans to offer this feature in all versions including Windows 11 Home. CT managers will have the option of opening or closing this feature and customizing according to the needs of organizations. Quick Machine Recovery, in its current form of opening and closing the managers, network identity information and scanning intervals in advance and Crowdstrike and so on. It allows you to test it with the correction package for scenarios.

Last July, Crowdstrike released a faulty update that caused millions of Windows to give a blue screen. Banks, airlines, TV broadcasters and more were affected. Since physical access to devices needed to solve the problem, IT managers have difficulty in making systems back online. Fast machine recovery feature will help prevent similar interruptions.
