Windows 11 widgets are a growing ecosystem, and Facebook is joining the trend by developing a new widget for its main app.
The Facebook widget is available on the Canary, Dev and Beta channels and you need the latest version of the Facebook app for it to work. This widget allows you to view notifications such as comments, new posts and invitations.
File Explorer gets a more useful Details pane
For Insiders signed up to the Dev channel only, with build 23451, Microsoft is testing a modernized Details pane that shows more information about the file, suggesting content such as related files or an email conversation where the file is included or mentioned. This new pod was reported a few weeks ago and is finally starting to become available.

Alongside suggested files and other content, this new pane also includes an activity history for the file and an easy share button. It also has a modern look that is in line with the rest of Windows 11. Only some Insiders will see this experience for now.
Windows 11 build 23451 also includes a few other improvements for Windows Insiders on the Dev channel. For example, the new widget selector experience, previously only available on the Canary channel, is now available. This update also adds animated widget icons.
